Dear Viswa,

many thanks for sharing this item. I have very similar cards sent by a German missionary who was interned during WW I and repatriated in 1916.

The TVC 476 indicates that the postcard was censored in London as well. The cancellation looks like Dinapore which was one of many detention camps that did not have a censor at the camp. Bombay censor office would handle all of these. Only a few were also censored at London.

Dann Mayo has listed this item in the ebay. where the cover to Ranchi has been redirected to Dinapore civil camp. There is a delivery stamp of Dinapur too at the back. .
