Mike Powell is preparing a book on WW1 Canadian censor markings. In his preparation he has found some unusual ones that he would like to hear if anyone is familiar with them, and can confirm exactly what they are and whether Canadian. The first one is a rectangular boxed Examined / J.A.M. on a letter from The Imperial Oil Company in Sarnia Ontario to a company that manufactured gas pumps and retailed gasoline. There is also a single ring 24. It seems unlikely as a target for censorship.
