Cover to Holland - label query

Postby WaldronP » Fri Feb 26, 2021 4:26 pm

I am trying to identify the type of label on the attached cover. Being new to this group and topic, I am hoping someone may help me. I have a copy of Graham Mark's book and supplement but cannot seem to reconcile the label with any description. I bought the cover being a perfin collector and have now become fascinated by civil censorship during WW1.
Thanks
Paul

Welcome to the forum, Paul

Check this link, British Censorship Of Civil Mail during WWI, by Graham Mark

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=81

I think it is Type 4 (sub-type in the lower right corner) .

I hope this helps.

Best regards
